Directions & Parking

Hike for Lung Health takes place in Lincoln Park near LaSalle Street & North Ave on Sunday, September 17, 2017. The park can be busy as the zoo will be open and other events may be happening that day. If possible, participants are encouraged to take public transportation. Public Transportation

The Hike location can easily be reached by public transportation.

CTA Buses

Several CTA bus routes stop nearby Lincoln Park. These include:

  • Route 11 – Lincoln
  • Route 22 – Cermak
  • Route 36 – Broadway
  • Route 72 – North
  • Route 73 – Armitage
  • Route 151 – Sheridan

Nearby L Stops

Two L train stops are located just one mile from the Hike.

  • Brown Line’s Sedgwick station
  • Red Line’s Clark/Division station

Driving Directions

From the South

  • Take I-55 N/Stevenson Expressway N to Lake Shore Drive.
  • Take Lake Shore Drive North to North Avenue/LaSalle Street exit/ramp
  • Go west (left) on LaSalle to Stockton.
  • Turn right on Stockton.

There is a parking lot on the left hand side of Stockton. There is additional parking in the Lincoln Park Zoo parking lot, park on far south at the end of the lot. Street parking and other lots are available in the area. See below or check out Groupon or Spot Hero.

From the North

  • Take Lake Shore Drive South to the North Avenue/LaSalle Street Exit.
  • Go west (right) on LaSalle to Stockton.
  • Turn right on Stockton.

There is a parking lot on the left hand side of Stockton. There is additional parking in the Lincoln Park Zoo parking lot, park on far south at the end of the lot. Street parking and other lots are available in the area. See below or check out Groupon or Spot Hero.

From the West

  • Take 90/94 to the North Avenue exit.
  • Go east and follow all the way to LaSalle Street.
  • Turn right to go North on LaSalle to Stockton Avenue.
  • Turn left on to Stockton.

Guest Drop Offs

Getting a ride to Hike for Lung Health? The suggested spot to be dropped off and picked up is on Stockton Drive across from the parking lot near the paved ramp.

Lincoln Park Zoo

Enter off of Fullerton Avenue, rate for this location is based on an hourly rate. For your information, 30 minutes – 3 hours is $25.00. Park at the FURTHEST SOUTH end of the lot and you will walk right over to the Walk Site headed west.

Stockton Drive Lot

Located one block north of LaSalle on Stockton Drive, parking rates can vary at this lot. Walk across Stockton Drive east, to the Walk Site (a short distance). There is a paved down ramp across from Stockton Drive lot just a few steps north from lot.

Limited Street Parking

There is limited free street parking along Stockton Drive. First come, first serve.
