LPT Member Benefits
BANK OF AMERICA CHICAGO MARATHON SPOT
RHA has secured spots for the 2018 Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 7, 2018. (By securing your spot with RHA, you forfeit your entry through the marathon’s lottery drawing held Tuesday, December 12, 2017.) As a member of the Lung Power Team, you agree to raise a minimum of $1,500 in contributions for RHA.
If you have already registered for the 2018 Bank of America Chicago Marathon and join the Lung Power Team, you agree to raise a minimum of $650 in donations.
RACE OF YOUR CHOICE
Are you running a difference race in 2018? Join the Lung Power Tower for complimentary training, not to mention motivation, camaraderie and support. You agree to raise a minimum of $400. You’ll also need to register for your chosen race and pay any race fees.
One of the most valuable Lung Power Team member benefits is your choice of complimentary training programs. Click here to learn more about the Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA), Chicago Endurance Sports (CES), and virtual training.
As a Bank of America Chicago Marathon or race of your choice charity runner, we believe what sets the Lung Power Team apart is RHA’s fundraising support.
In addition to your own fundraising page and a complete guide to fundraising, your RHA fundraising coach will provide lots of personalized tips and ideas to help you reach your goal, plus encourage you with great incentive prizes.
Whether you are running a race of your choice or the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, you’ll receive a pre-race goody bag. Bank of America Chicago Marathon runners may pick up goody bags at RHA’s booth at the Expo. If you are running a race of your choice, your goody bag will be mailed to you.
TEAM PASTA DINNER
A highlight for Lung Power Team members each year is RHA’s Lung Power Team pasta dinner just before the Bank of America Chicago Marathon – mark your calendar now for Friday, October 5, 2018.
Team members, RHA staff and LPT volunteers gather at a local restaurant to meet and renew friendships, enjoy a delicious meal, and share racing tips and stories of inspiration.
Running a race of your choice on another day? We hope you’ll still join us on October 5 to meet your fellow team members and be part of this special night.
